Maintaining your car daily keeps it in an ideal aesthetic and mechanical state. A few regular and easy checks will extend the life of your vehicle while sometimes allowing considerable savings. You will also reap all the benefits from a possible resale. Here are tips to follow.

Regularly Check the Fluid Levels

Be aware that an insufficient level can cause failures which can sometimes have serious consequences or even breakage of the engine. A little glance under the hood every now and then can save you a lot of trouble.

Test the Condition of the Battery

A battery in good condition maintains a good life expectancy. Make sure that it is always fully charged – starting problems -, that the terminals are clean and, if necessary, check the electrolyte level. If necessary, have the charging circuit checked.

Maintain the Tires

A little visual inspection of the tires is never unnecessary. Be aware that under or over-inflated tires wear out more quickly. Likewise, irregular wear may suggest an anomaly in parallelism or the like. Regularly checking your tires helps prolong their life.

The tires must be identical on each axle. Likewise, they must have visible sculptures over their entire surface.
